“K” Part 2 of 2

The Killers - Complete Day & Age, Hot Fuss, and Sam’s Town albums.

Kim Carnes - “Bette Davis Eyes” from ‘80s Gold.

Kim Walker - “We Cry Out” and “How He Loves” from We Cry Out. Walker is the worship pastor at Bethel Chapel in California. Her passion for the Lord is extremely evident in the videos of her live performances of these songs.

Kim Wilde - “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” from 80's Pop Number 1's.

Kimberly Locke - “8th World Wonder” from her One Love album. Teeny love pop.

Kinetic Minority - Entire Kindle EP. This band formed at CCU under leadership of David Spence. They never made it big and didn’t last very long, but this album is decent.

Kirk Franklin - “Stomp” from God’s Property and “Revolution” from The Nu Nation Project.

Kiss - Complete albums: Alive III, Destroyer, and MTV Unplugged.

KMFDM - “Material Girl” from Virgin Voices Vol. 1: A Tribute To Madonna. KMFDM is an initialism for the nonsensical and grammatically incorrect German phrase "Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid", which literally translates as "no majority for the pity" but is typically given the loose translation of "no pity for the majority" or "no mercy for the masses". Their cover of Madonna’s song is very . . . . interesting.

The Knack - “My Sharona” from Get the Knack. One of the most popular and best ‘80s songs!

Kool & the Gang - “Celebrate!” from the album of same name (including the !).

Korben - Complete Steady Fools album. This husband-wife duo (now divorced) from Montana is really, quite good. I would have signed them to a Christian label, if I had the job and if the couple had stayed together. Chad Gerber (the husband) wrote all of the songs. A very quality recording, it’s too bad that Korben didn’t last.

Korn - “Got the Life”, “Falling Away From Me”, and “Freak on a Leash” from Follow the Leader and “Blind” from their self-titled album. The story of former Korn guitarist and background vocalist Brian Phillip Welch and his transformation to Christianity is inspirational and tear-jerking.

Kosmos Express - “The Force” from the Propska One compilation.

The Kry - Entire Unplugged and You albums. ‘90s Christian rock/worship band from Quebec City, Canada

KT Tunstall - “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree”, “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree (Acoustic)”, and “Suddenly I See” from Eye of the Telescope.

Kurtis Blow - “The Breaks” from Hip-Hop: Gold.

Kurupt - “Who Ride Wit Us” from Tha Streetz Iz a Mutha.

Kutless - Entire albums: Hearts of the Innocent, self-titled, Sea of Faces, and Strong Tower. Christian hard rock.

Kylie Minogue - “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” from Fever and “All I See” from X.
