Veggie Tales - Entire albums: Veggie Tales: A Very Veggie Christmas, Veggie Tales: Isaiah's CD [I guess you can make your own Veggie Tales album. My brother-in-law’s wife made this CD; the Intro track even says whatever name you would like it to, in this case Isaiah (my nephew)], and Veggie Tales: Veggie Tunes, Vol. 2.

Velour 100 - “Bittersweet” from Tooth & Nail Rock Sampler Volume 1.

The Verve Pipe - Entire Villains album.

I also have the following songs, which I placed on an album called Our Demo: “Six Feet Closer”, “Something For Hope”, and “Another Cold November”. There is one song, which is not on a CD entitled “The Main Attraction”. The same guy who played bass for The Pieces and the Fat (Peter Deustermann) played bass with TVFH. Peter was a college roommate of mine, which is how I obtained all of these tracks. After TVFH disbanded two of the guys went on to play with Meese, Mike Ayars and Ben Haley.

The Village People - “Y.M.C.A.” from Crusin’ and “Macho Man” from the album of the same name.

Violent Femmes - “Blister In the Sun” from their self-titled album and “American Music” from Why Do Birds Sing?

Viva Voce - “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” from Happy Christmas Vol. 2. This song rocks! Viva Voce took an old traditional Christmas song and turned it into a heavy rock song.

Toby Lightman - “Devils and Angles” from Little Things. A Starbucks freebie.

Tom Petty - Complete Full Moon Feaver and Wildflowers albums. “Saving Grace” from Highway Companion.

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Entire albums: Damn the Torpedoes, Echo, Greatest Hits, Hard Promises, Into the Great Wide Open, The Last DJ, Let Me Up (I've Had Enough), Long After Dark, Songs and Music from "She's the One", Southern Accents, self-titled, and You’re Gonna Get It!. Believe it or not, Petty and his band are not in my Top 20, but I still enjoy the majority of their music.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” from Christmas Eve and Other Stories and “Wizard in Winter” from The Lost Christmas Eve. There is a video on YouTube of some dude who is obviously obsessed with Christmas lights and timed the lights on his over-decorated house to ‘dance’ to “Wizard in Winter”. That guy deserves more recognition than what he received.

Trapt - “Headstrong” and “Echo” from their self-titled album.

Travis Tritt - “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive” from Down the Road I Go.

The group consists of Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova. “S” Part 4 of 4

Stereofuse - “I’m In Love” from All That Remains and “Everything” from their self-titled album.
Steve - “M” from Set Apart 2. I find it interesting that an artist chose to go by one name and that he has a song entitled “M”.

Steve Holy - “Good Morning Beautiful” from Blue Moon. Sappy country ballad.

Steve Martin - “King Tut” from A Wild and Crazy Guy. Yes, Steve Martin the well-known actor sings as well. I was surprised just like you are. The song comes off of a homemade sampler from my boss when I worked up in the mountains as a day camp counselor.

Steve Winwood - “Higher Love” from '80s Dance Gold.

Steven Curtis Chapman - Following complete albums: All About Love, All Things New, Declaration, Greatest Hits, Heaven in the Real World, Signs of Life, Speechless, and This Moment. Also have “I Will Be Here” from More to This Life. I love the Speechless album. It was the first SCC album I purchased and it was an excellent investment. Top 20.

Sting - Complete albums: All This Time, Brand New Day, Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984-1994, ...Nothing Like The Sun, Sacred Love, and Ten Summoner’s Tales. Also have “Until” from the Kate & Leopold soundtrack.

Stone Temple Pilots - “Interstate Love Song” from their Purple album. I’m not sure how they came up with the title for the song, but the lyrics have nothing to do with the interstate.

The Streets - “Let’s Push Things Forward” from Original Pirate Material. British rap. Better than I thought it would be.

Strikethurman - Complete A Winter Sky. I was introduced to these guys at a Battle of the Bands at my college back in 2003. The same one where Autumn’s Favor performed (see the “A’s”). Strikethurman rocked, so I bought the CD. I have not heard anything else of theirs; if there is anything else. The first track, “If the World Burns” is awesome.

String Cheese Incident - Complete One Step Closer and ‘Round the Wheel albums. String Cheese Incident is a jam band from Crested Butte and Telluride, Colorado formed in 1993. In 2007, the band began to disband. All members went on to pursue solo careers and still performed. On March 16, 2009 it was announced that the String Cheese Incident will reunite for the second annual Rothbury Music Festival held in Rothbury, Michigan. This will be their only show of 2009. The second Rothbury was held July 2-5. The band played an unannounced, invitation-only, "soundcheck" show at the Ogden Theater in Denver on June 24.

Stryper - Entire 7: The Best of Stryper. Old, old-school Christian hair band rock.

Styx - Complete Big Bang Theory and Greatest Hits albums. Best known for “Mr. Roboto”, but that song pales in comparison to such hits as “Too Much Time on My Hands”, “Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)” and “Blue Collar Man”. “Come Sail Away” is another goodie.

The Subdues - Complete Street Symphony album. Blues/rock.

Sublime - “What I Got (Lovin')”, “Santaria”, “Wrong Way” and “Doin Time” from their self-titled album and the entire 40 Oz. to Freedom album. I won 40 Oz. to Freedom at some raffle somewhere in Colorado. I have no memory of when or where, and no I was not drinking at the time.

Sup the Chemist - “Photographs [Rough Mix]” from Cheapskates: Softer Side.

Superchick - Complete albums: Beauty From Pain, Last One Picked, Regeneration, and Rock What You Got. Superchick is exactly what their name says, super chicks. Supertramp - “Breakfast in America” from the album of the same name and “Give a Little Bit” from Even in the Quietest Moments.

Survivor - “Eye of the Tiger” from Now That's What I Call The 80s.

Suzanne Vega - “Frank & Ava” from Beauty & Crime and “Tom’s Diner” from Solitude Standing. An article in the now defunct magazine Business 2.0 revealed that "Tom's Diner" was also used by Karlheinz Brandenburg to develop the audio compression scheme known as MP3 at what is now the Fraunhofer Society. He recalled: “I was ready to fine-tune my compression algorithm...somewhere down the corridor, a radio was playing ‘Tom's Diner‘. I was electrified. I knew it would be nearly impossible to compress this warm a cappella voice.” Brandenburg adopted the song for testing purposes, listening to it again and again each time he refined the scheme, making sure it did not adversely affect the subtlety of Vega's voice. While it is an exaggeration to say that the MP3 compression format is specifically tuned to play the song "Tom's Diner" (an assortment of critically analyzed material was involved in the design of the codec over many years), among some audio engineers this anecdote has earned Vega the informal title "The Mother of the MP3".

Swen & Dean - Complete albums: as is. and Songs For the Good. Swen and Dean Swenson hail from Iowa and worked at Okoboji Lurthern Bible Camp when I met them at that very camp. I was on a Campus Crusade retreat up there and they did a concert for us. They both attended Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. Most of the songs on these two albums are covers, with a few original tracks written by the brothers’ good friend Rich Colligan.

The Swimmers - Entire Fighting Trees album. Punk rock slowed down with a slight British rock mixed in.

Swing City Big Band - Complete Tuxedo Junction: Big Band Swing Classics. Completely instrumental. “In the Mood” and “Chattanooga Choo Choo” are two of my favorites.

Snoop Dogg - “What’s My Name” from Doggystyle, “Lay Low” from The Last Meal, “B*tch Please” from No Limit Top Dogg, “Beautiful” from Paid tha Cost to Be da Bo$$, and “Drop It Like It's Hot” and “Let’s Get Blown” from R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece.

Snow Patrol - “Chasing Cars” from Eyes Open and complete Final Straw and A Hundred Million Suns albums.

Soft Cell - “Tainted Love” from Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret. I think Soft Cell was two gay guys.

S.o.K. - Entire The Counter-Rebellion Begins Here. SoK later became Three Cord Wonder and then split in 2007. They released two albums under Three Cord Wonder, one of which I have and one which I would like to have, The Jesus Rock Show.

Sonya Kitchell - “Here to There” from This Storm. A Starbuck freebie.

Sophie B. Hawkins - “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover” from Tongues and Tails.

Soul Junk - “Ill-M-I” from Take Time To Listen - Volume 5. Originally appearing on Soul Junk’s 1956 album. Toby Mac did a cover of the song for his Welcome to Diverse City album. Ill-M-I refers to the Illuminati groups, some historical, some modern, some real, others not.

Soul Asylum - “Runaway Train” from Grave Dancers Union and entire Let Your Dim Light Shine album.

Soul Decision - “Faded” from No One Does It Better.

Soul Hooligan - “Psychedelic Soul” from American Eagle’s Get Together sampler.

Souljah Boy - “Turn My Swag On” from iSouljaBoyTellem.

Souljahz - Complete The Fault is History album. Christian hip-hop, but its different than other Christian hip-hop. Souljahz has a unique flair that appealed to me. Similar to Grits only with a female thrown into the mix. Souljahz draws from many genres including jazz, Latin music, and reggae. The members are all siblings, Joshua, Jekob, and Rachael Washington, all from San Diego.

Sound garden - “Blackhole Sun” from Superunknown

Space Hog - “In the Meantime” from Resident Alien.

Spandau Ballet - “True” from the album of the same name.

Spanish Harlem Orchestra - “Sacala Bailar” from United We Sing. A Starbucks freebie, but one of the better ones that I have downloaded. This was one of the tracks that hooked me into the Latin music scene.

Speech - “The Hey Song” from H2o American Eagle Summer Sampler. Not Gary Glitter’s “Rock & Roll, Part II)” song that is commonly referred to as the ‘hey’ song.

Spin Doctors - Complete Pocket Full of Kryptonite and You've Got To Believe In Something albums. “Two Princes” is probably their best known song or “Little Miss Can't Be Wrong”.

Splendor - “I Think God Can Explain” from Halfway Down the Sky. The song title lacks confidence, I know God can explain, but he doesn’t have to because He’s God.

Split Level - “Everything” and “The Thing I Do” from Organic Records Sampler.

Spoken - Various tracks from the following albums: Echoes of the Spirit Still Dwell, On Your Feet, and What Remains. Imagine if Rage Against the Machine became Christian. This is what it would sound like.

Spy Glass Blue - “Lodging” and “Tell” from Organic Records Sampler

Squirrel Nut Zippers - “Hell” from Hot, “Lover’s Land” from The Inevitable and the entire Perennial Favorites album. While the band’s eclectic fusion of Delta blues, gypsy jazz, 1930’s-era swing, klezmer, and other styles make it hard to categorize, the band found their niche in the late 1990’s Swing Revival scene. This is about the time they found commercial success and national recognition.

SR71 - “Right Now” from Now You See Inside. An American alternative rock band from Baltimore. The band is currently on hiatus. And yes, their name did come from the supersonic surveillance aircraft known as the SR-71 Blackbird.

Stephen Stills - “Colorado” from Manassas. Stills is most notably famous for his time with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, & Nash, (and Young).

Steppenwolf - 10 tracks from 16 Greatest Hits. The song “The Pusher” is unchecked on my iTunes account because it uses the Lord’s name in vain and I take serious offense to that.

Shane & Caleb - Shane Barnard and Caleb Carruth; “Salvation Still Remains”, “Search My Heart”, and “In the Secret” from Salvation Still Remains.

The Shins - “Caring is Creepy” from American Eagle’s Get Together sampler.

Shorthanded - “Agony and Ecstasy” from Cheapskates: Softer Side.

Show Musicians - Complete ‘Ulalena show soundtrack. When we were in Maui a few summers ago, we went to a live show called ‘Ulalena. There are two companies who do these kinds of shows, one is Cirque de Sole and the other one is ARRA-montréal. ARRA-montréal did this show and it was amazing! 'Ulalena is a wind unique to Maui, as said in the Kumulipo, an ancient Hawaiian creation chant, as well as a red-yellow colored rain revealed by the twilight. Like a soft wind in the mist of light. Each song/segment is a representation of a major time period or event in Hawaiian history.

Showpigs - “Glow” from Real Tracks

Shuki Levy & Haim Saban - “Inspector Gadget” theme song.

Shwayze - “Roamin’” from his self-titled album. “Light her up, light, light her up, like’s it 1985 . . .”

Silers Bald - “Real Life” from New Music 03.

Silkk the Shocker - “It Ain’t My Fault” from Charge It 2 da Game.

Silverchair - “Ana’s Song (Open Fire)” from Neon Ballroom.

Silversun Pickups - Entire Carnavas album. Female vocals; new-age rock.

Simon & Garfunkel - Complete Collected Works (all three discs). How can one not like some of the stuff put out by S&G? “Mrs. Robinson”, “Cecilia” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” are all classics.

Slaughterhouse - “The One” from their self-titled album.

Slipknot - “Scissors” from their self-titled album. This scary band from Des Moines, Iowa is very hard rock music. This is the ONLY song I like. I would never want to add any more music of theirs. The only reason I have this is from an old college friend who made me a ‘mix CD’ back in 1999.

Smalltown Poets - Entire albums: Listen Closely, self-titled, and Third Verse. A Christian rock band from Tifton, Georgia. The band is on hiatus after releasing their fourth studio album, It's Later Than It's Ever Been.

Kari Jobe - Complete self-titled album. Jobe is a worship pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. She is also a member of Gateway Worship, a worship band.

Scapegoat Wax - “Crawlin’” from American Eagle’s Get Together sampler. A slower track.

Scatman John - “Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)” from Clubcutz America. As much as I wouldn’t want to be a man of scat (haha), this man’s talent is amazing. Something about stuttering in the song, but I don’t hear any stuttering.

Scott Krippayne - “Deeper Still” from All of Me, “Cross of Christ” from Bright Star, Blue Sky, and “Hope Has a Way” from Wild Imagination.
